P.032 Using clinical MRI scans for research purposes: a preliminary feasibility study

Background: This project aims to bridge the gap between clinical data being collected at a local hospital be used for research. Methods: 1.5T high-resolution anatomical MRI scans were from ten participants who already undergoing clinical, imaging, and neurological assessment as part of their standard-of-care. Additional statistical models examine relationship grey matter (using voxel-based morphometry [VBM]) scores on Toronto Cognitive Assessment (TorCA). Results: There was lack consistency in scanning protocols inconsistent reporting neuropsychological across participants. No significant found using p-corrected images p < 0.05. When viewing uncorrected threshold 0.001, we positive correlation TorCA areas bilateral superior frontal gyrus, pole, brain stem, left putamen. Conclusions: Although no VBM metrics scores, this represents crucial step connecting health research with practice where neuroimaging assessments are collected. also informed our team that needing streamlined operationalized future strategies collection input.
